Well as has been said before here, most people on this forum know a lot more than 99% of dealers do about these cars right now.

What I don't understand is if car haulers full of Camaros were seen in Michigan earlier in the week, why don't some dealers have a few cars now? I realize that everybody waiting for one doesn't go on Camaro5, but SOMEBODY here should have seen one by now. I think there must be a "Camaro Black Hole" somewhere in the middle of Kansas where they are all going and disappearing.

When I special ordered my Vette, it only took a couple of days from the Bowling Green, Kentucky plant to Atlanta, with all the stops in between, and the dealer called me immediately -I took pictures and looked at the car before it was prepped.

Looking forward to a new thread that starts with something like: "Wow is this car fast!"

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the first coming off the line are going to the big celebrity names. I know Dr. Phil, Jay Leno and others have ordered Camaros. I have also noticed that the Avis rental car company has ordered a ton. I admit that I will be mad if I see them with them before people on here have em.

Those cars had Manufacturer plates on them.

They were CTF cars, not customer's cars.

The door panels didn't fit right, so they parked the cars, got better parts, and fixed them. That is the delay.

could it be that they are loading up the farthest deliveries first, so that they can deliver however many hundred all in one day?

I think we all just lost cool points...

My wife was looking over my shoulder when I typed that... apparently I am now an "Insensitive jerk".

The order was given Saturday that they could load the rail cars so they wouldn't have started that till Monday morning. From here they have to go to a sorting facility (they should just now be getting there either yesterday or today) where they will spend a couple days being sorted and loaded on trailers to be shipped to dealers. It will be end of the next or start of the week after before you see any cars arriving at dealers.
