Not sure if this applies to all or not. I have a 18 ZL1 Conv. The antenna is now hidden in the factory spoiler. This required an addition hole on each inside post of the wing.

I put an email into thatgmguy to see if there is going to be some type of base place to cover. If not I will make one out of carbon fiber. When I purchased from him I did give VIN and nothing was said about not fitting as is

Had to hide the antenna in the truck lid with foam padding and zip ties. Cant see anything once under trunk lid cover is back on. Had to keep got zero reception on radio when I had it disconnected.
