Finally Got My Blade Spoiler Installed On My Hyper Blue RS!!

Well, finally today its 69 degrees and sunny here in Cleveland. But windy as hell! But, a golden opportunity to post pics of my new hyper blue blade spoiler installed on my RS.
I love the look! Such a upgrade from the stock spoiler that was installed with the RS package.
It really opens up the rear end.

I feel bad for you SS guys. It really sucks they don't have this suitable for the SS. I feel Even worse for Tr6 (Turk) on this forum. He has a hole in his top trunk area where the blade spoiler didn't cover up.
I feel with the front splitter installed on the front of my RS and with this blade spoiler installed on the back end, It's like the cherry on top of the sundae...Now both ends have been modified. I really love the look of this spoiler.

Looks great...if you had it installed, what was the charge?

IMO, You don't realize how "small" the RS spoiler looks, until you mount the blade spoiler…

You need to get out of this single forum… It's been over in the cosmetic section for about two hours!! LOL

Start hitting "new posts" at the top and you get all the new stuff in every single section

Do the quarter panels have to have holes drilled in them for the edge pieces? Or are they just held on with the 3M tape?

Nope. For the RS models, No NEW holes have to be drilled. The blade spoiler covers up the old holes left from the old spoiler.....Thank god!

What you need to do, and what they want you to do , are two different things. LOL They want you using windshield adhesive in the center, and then the tape all around, and as Zack said, all you need to do is the tape, it's stronger than shit.

The "how to" from GM is in the DIY section, courtesy of TR6.....

Awesome, I was just curious. I've installed them on the 5th gens.. talk about a nightmare. have to drill two holes in each quarter panel.
