I can't imagine GM bumping the HP rating that much higher on the 5th Gen ZL1, maybe a 10-20HP bump at best and I'm sure that it will just be a variation of the way they changed/rated the HP on the 5th Gen V-6 Camaro. It will be the same way for the ZL1... I myself am hoping for a very wide range of 6th Gen Camaros(lighter weight, numerous engine options like 4 cyl turbo/6cyl turbo/ a few V-8 motors, etc, etc.)..... What i am really hoping for is that GM offers a ton of "performance options" for the 6th Gen Camaro that will be warranty friendly...

I could see this happening but I could also see the hp going down and them offering stage 1-3 packages. I don't think the suspension will change as much seeing as its magnificent but id be hard pressed to see a base zl1 at 33-3400 lbs and the base model has 580 hp, while the stage 3 has hp at or around 650 hp. With the new better around the corner I foresee gm making sure the camaro stays the "little brother" . I'm sure this will piss off quite a few people but it won't take much for these care to make great hp. Just something to think about.
