I put my ZL1 up for the winter in early November and won't drive it again until April. I like this car too much to drive on salt/sand covered roads. I still get my ya ya's during the winter in my 04 GTO manual with Dunlop Winter Sport tires.

Living in Texas my 1le doesn't get driven that much now and I worry about the tires on the colder days. She purrs in the garage for attention which gets her out a little during the week and I am lucky she is not my full time ride.

70 today but 40's overnight for many days in a row. Even in the south you have to respect the G2's. When the pavement here is chilled ( below 50 ) for successive nights the goodyears
scream *mommy* I usually wait for above 55 and 3 or 4 lbs added to pressure ( warm up )
the other day I had to reverse lock the wheel as a 90 degree turn & throttle stomp turned into a wild ( but fun ) dirt track type of adventure. Actually created some oversteer. Maybe some oil in that area or the manhole cover was not welcomed. But wtf, here they rarely flush out the manholes when they resurface so you have these 1" - 2" ruts just about everywhere you drive. Ba-bump Ba-bump...I love this car. Love these tires.
