Sorry but that is like asking what is the best color for a Camaro. Everyone has an opinion for exhaust also. Listen to the V6 exhaust thread first ,as you may have done. Try to find someone who has what you may be looking at. You never said what you were looking for, loud, no drone. And be ready for the V8 crowd to beat you down. You will never get that V8 sound if that is what your looking for. MRT V2 I have heard in person and sound real good.

MRTv2 is a fantastic exhaust for the V6 and I am very happy with mine.

MRT 2.0 is the most popular axle back for the V6 Camaro. GREAT sound.

If you want one of these set-ups used, check this section daily.

If you can't wait, Check with Apex (one of the sponsors) for one of his deals.

Good Luck

does the axle back mrt 2.0 provide any performance upgrades? like more hp/torque/weight reduction?

No significant perf. improvement- stock cans flow well. But they also weigh 25lbs each.

I'm guessing but I expect the MRT 2.0 is probably less than 10lbs each.

When I cut off the stock mufflers (suitcases) and weighed them, they were 25.5 lbs each. When I installed the MRT 2.0 (overnight bags), I weighed those too, they were 9.5 lbs. each. For a total savings of 32 lbs on the back end. There is no real performance gain from any axle back set-up.
