Bowtie wrapped

Well had my clear bra guy use the 3M matte black (same as hood) on the bowties turned out awesome - didn't like plastidip as I wanted to keep the frame around it like the SS
Matches great.....

I just plastidip sprayed my bowties yesterday. I messed up a little bit so I will be redoing them while it sits over the winter (or may use the wrap like you did) but I kept the chrome frame. It is just more work masking but I believe its worth it keeping the chrome. I also did my front SS Badge the same. I love it and will be doing the rear SS badge when I have time.

I like the chrome border. I just installed an all black billet bow tie on my trunk side. No border. Will add a photo later.

Looks great. If my 1LE was black or charcoal, I would have gone the same route as you. But, since my car is VR, I went a different route...

Is the 1st pic distorted or is the bow tie upside down?

I think it is on upside down. I flipped the picture upside down and it looks better. The way it is on there now makes it look like it is frowning.

It was indeed upside down. I righted it yesterday. That pic is from the day I got the bowtie back from the painter.

Not bad, but I would have removed the SS badges as well. Looks cleaner.
