You got most of it right, far as games go it was just the typical rework and scramble of current hot games with a girl. Then bikini volleyball came out and that type of game dried up. As it didn't need to be an action game, just needed sexy girls.

Which will make it a good movie franchise as it not like Doom or anything.
Its more like laura Croft with that type of fan base.

Doom didn't work movie wise to a point as it has to much of a hard core gamer fan base that pick apart the story line and movie. The typical fan going to see it, knows to much.

Where that didn't happen with the LC movies.
Just needs a hot chick and...... success

Your best off going in with eyes wide open not knowing much.

Course I could be wrong on all this fact wise but how I see it.

That Ultra Violet movie she is very similar in the matrix way,
she was smoking hot in. It comes on syfy now n then.

The doom movies biggest problem was the fact that the game didn't really even have much of a story. As for the RE movies they have very little to do with the games story which is sad because if they just followed the games plot the movies would be so much better. The first movie was surprisingly good, and loosely followed the main story. After that only elements and names appear.

I never played the RE games.

I don't play video games at all, so I just watch the movies.

You need to install Clam Digger atleast

Oh you gonna love this, boy. Tyrone calls you up, you know, in the game, and he says, "I can dig more clams than you, stupid!" And you've got to say, "Nuh-uh, boy!" And then y'all gotta race down to the beach with your buckets and your shovels. And the object of the game... is to find parking.

Degeneration doesn't count. It's a CGI movie based off the games. No Milla No count!

Saw it over the weekend - been a fan of the RE franchise since first flick and a Milla fan since The Fifth Element.

Didn't think 3D added much - frankly forgot about it most of the time (how many shell casings flying toward you can you remember). Milla looked great and always looks fresh despite the carnage/smoke around her...though she did have some soot on her at the end I guess for "authenticity".

As for reviews its should be expected to be panned as a fanboy or teen-age shoot'em up/zombies/apocalyptic unneeded sequel by the general press - but to fans who just want to be entertained it was better than RE3 Extinction IMHO.

No Spoilers but RE 5 can't be too far off...
