Should be fun...

....

mmmmm......

Just curious...

What would ya'll think about doing this Thursday night instead of Sat morning at 7am. Basically doing this the same as last year? ...as an opening to the fest? 7pm to 8pm?

Not bad, but then no one would see our great looking cars as we all would be in stealth (night) mode. There is still a considerable rush hour to contend with at the time too.

Not at 7 PM, not even on the I-10. Firebird was having an event the other day when I was working down in Sun Lakes and got through almost no traffic at 6 PM. I'll give you it would be a waste to do this in the dark though.

yeah...i just looked up sumrise/sunset times. It appears with sunset being at 7pm, it won't work out. I was hoping to leave at 7 getting back at 8pm. Doesn't look good unless we left at 6pm getting back at 7pm. We would also be on the south side of the city, so there woild not be too much traffic to have to contend with.

True, but remember it is/was Spring break for all the schools last week. I work at the Broadway curve, get off work at 6 PM and I could get on the freeway in a matter of a few minutes. During normal times it takes 20 minutes to get on the freeway (I-10).

What if we left earlier on Saturday morning, no rush hour, and everyone can see the beauty of the desert. Just a thought since there will probably be over 300 cars going.

Also if we did it early on Saturday morning IBMCamaro can join us. The other thought is since Big Bob at Fesler wants to shoot a video, unless he has night vision on his camera we will all be invisible if we do it at 7 PM on Thursday.

Ah...sorry. Yeah, I tossed around this idea for a few and after chatting it over with AZDPS, found it won't work.

Sat it is.

Actually....I need my beauty sleep.

I think we need to make it 8am staging and leaving at 8:31am. Why the 1, I don't know...just figured an extra minute will make it easier on us all...haha

Seriously, bumping it from 7am to staging at 8am is going to be easiest and will make everyone a wee bit happier. It's going to be smooooooth sailing once we get moving.
