Maybe. We will be going on Thursdat, not sure what time, yet. Depends on how many others from Ohio, etc. are going and their anticipated time. We may go across at Sarnia. I google mapped that rout and it is about 20 mins longer. But my past experiences, it used to be easier (less hassle) to cross at Sarnia. Not sure if that still hold true. We have not been to Canada since the passport rule was enacted.

Same here. I'm in talks about cancelling my C5Fest plans in favor of BBOMG. So that's two going via Detroit. Should be what.. 10 hours or more via Detroit? But what's 20 minutes when we've got a convoy to check at the crossing. Could get a speedy check through?
At least that was what I was planning, take the bird over Ambassador and take 401 east through Toronto. |

The last couple of times I crossed at Detroit had no problems going across it was coming back where we had trouble. As for Sarnia, It's 1.5hrs. from Dundee(just north of Toledo).

Yeah, that's at the port huron crossing isn't it? If so It's not a bad drive; I've been up there before. Convoy up 23N for Sarnia or 75N?
Also if anyone wants to bunk I'm game for Oshawa. Just PM me the particulars and I can coordinate with the event staff on MC.com (since they've got a similar setup for C5fest registration) to see if we can do it. June would be bitchin' for a cruise to Oshawa. |

It doesn't matter to me where we cross. JR was organizing a group from Cincy, Dayton & Columbus. Not sure if they are going to cross at Detroit or Buffalo. Either way, it will be way cool to have a large convoy crossing at the same time.
