Camaro license plate brackets

Wondering what my fellow IL '10 Camaro drivers are doing to secure the front license plate to the car. We don't want to have to drill through the front of the car if there is some other way to attach. Already have one warning from local officer ... any ideas??
Thanks!

On ebay they are selling a flip down version with a switch wired to your dash. I briefly looked into in and i dont beleive its that expensive or hard to install.

Im gonna look more into it myself, but i still have another month before my car is built.

These have been really popular for years in the Corvette community and now they're becoming popular with Camaro owners.

The third photo shows it with the optional body colored license plate frame (sold separately).
Click any of the photos to go to the product page for more info.

I just bought a bracket today on ebay that mounts with the screws under the front bumper. Another user here had purchased one and said it works great.

I don't like using a front plate on my car, but it's the law in Ohio. At least this way I don't have to put holes in my bumper.

Here it is:

By the way, that one doesn't work if you have ground effects, but the same seller has one for Camaros with GFX as well (just search his other items).

That officer is being nitpicky...the only time I stop a vehicle for improper display is if I think they are "ridin dirty" to use a catch phrase, lol..

Dash, by statue, isn't legal, because it isn't attached. Also, by having it on the dash an overly eager officer could possibly cite you for obstructing the windshield...

When I get mine, with my luck, I would get that officer, especially if I were down at school because my license says 'Chicago'!

I LOVE GM vehicles, and particularly Chevy's, but would buy any GM vehicle if I had the $$...Hopefully, one day, soon enough, a 5th Gen CAMARO! Dave_O

I took my bracket, turned it upside down and used zip ties to attatch it in the lower grille. Had to drill two extra holes in the bracket, but thats better than drilling any holes into my front bumper. Added some foam camper tape to backside of bracket where it rests on the very botton of my front lower spoiler.

Would love to see the pics of how you did it and how it looks! We are trying to come up with a way to do it too!
