Cut Turn Signal Wire..

Hey guys, (I think your all awesome for helping me btw)
But i was planning on getting RS headlights for my car. They have those eagle eye headlights on now. I know i have to get a harness and all that but i was just wondering... the shop that put on my eagle eye headlights cut my passenger turn signal wire, im pretty sure it was the black wire.. they did use the vampire clips though but on that black wire they cut it and just put electrical tape on it. they said it wasn't getting enough power or something so they just did that. When i take off these eagle eye headlights and remove that electrical tape, am i still gonna be able to use the RS headlights? can i just retape those black wires or something? Or get like a new turn signal harness thing? lol sorry i dont know much, still pretty new to meh car..

They cut the wire going to your headlight, or cut the bulb wire? I'm a little confused!

IDK why they cut it, they just said it wasn't getting enough power, like the halo was dimmed.. then they cut it and connected the halo wire and said it lighted up better..

Your whole headlight works correctly, right?

So does your light flicker when you hit bumps or anything? Did they tell you before they cut it? I'd be pissed if not!

Well if it's working, then you should be fine with RS headlights!

If the Halos are flickering when touched then you need to get fixed better. They should not flicker when the wire is touched.

This can cause a sudden heavy electrical load on your car. Could ruin your alternator and or battery. Demand they fix what they broke.

When I am fixing a customer of mines phone and I puncture the battery on accident, I don't just throw tape on it and say "well it got in my way sorry, but I fixed the other thing". I replace it no questions asked and I advise the customer that I did so. Most are happy that they have a new part.

Man, that's a crappy looking job, what kind of crap shop did this? I would have asked for a refund on that garbage, they obviously are not professional and have no clue what they're doing.

That connection must not even be soldered and certainly isn't water proofed. They should have soldered the joint and used shrink tubing on it so it looked pretty. I question why they even needed to do that in the first place though.
