When I had my kooks headers, hi flow cats and magnaflow cat back installed and tuned it came to 423 rwhp and 420 rwtq. I only had a k&n cai at the time for other engine mods.

410-420 range most likely with dyno tune rwhp range My best guess if tuned good. You have the non electric power steering in a earlier Camaro, earlier suspension, etc. And ditching torque management a real boost to performance along with a good 160 degree thermostat and fan temp setting would be good additions with the tune. That would equate more like 15% drivetrain loss to transfer into the 470-480 flywheel area for numbers compared to stock 426 hp ls3.

I put down 424whp with headers, HF cats and 3" catback with no tune. I added a intake and a tune and put down 432whp.
To reach 500bhp you'll need be at roughly 430whp so yes it is possible. But dynos are more for measuring your starting or base WHP and how much each mod gives above that number. some dynos can read high, some low. They can get you in the ballpark but aren't set in stone. Most differ from car to car, region to region, brand to brand and even weather from day to day.

Thank you all for the answers. I didn't mean to start a kurfluffle, and I haven't dyno tested my car as of yet. I think people are reporting around ~370 hp the stock LS3 on the dyno, so getting it up to the 420 rwhp and getting rid of torque management may be what I'm looking for.

Thanks everyone!
