really silly camaro complaint.

So heres a silly complaint(and its totally a non issue :-)

Im sort of a short guy (5'5") and when the camaro's trunk is open Its a stretch to reach up to the top of the lid BEYOND the spoiler to close to trunk(I dont want to grab the spoiler to pull down the trunk lid. So I usually just end up grabbing the bowtie to close the trunk :-) Wish she had a trunk closer handle on the inside (my hatchback used to have that)
Luckily the trunk action is super smooth and is easy to close

I wished I had my car in so I could close the trunk.

Side is lower. Or you could wear boots with a 4 inch heal.

I think my solution will be to drop the car about 1.25 inches :-)

I think It's getting a lot better. I had ordered in Sept 09 and received the car at the dealership on Feb 17th '10. Took almost 6 months.

Lol. I grab the bowtie too but I don't like it because I feel like I may one day pry it off, lol. But putting fingers/hands on the paint is not an option.

Haha thats exactly my boat. While were on the topic of short people I once had the pleasure of sitting in the passenger seat of my car. My eye was level with the Red dash trim on the dash :-) Could not see out at all haha. Not that it bothers me since Im in the driver's seat :-)

why not just tie a piece of rope or something to the inside of the lid and you can roll it up when youre not using it but when you know youre opening it all the way unroll it and have it hang down so you have something to pull down with.

The fact that you thought enough about it to post means its not silly OR a non-issue....to you.
Great idea, cut a handle off an old garage sale suit case,, then pop rivet it to the inner part of the lid.
What I run into is reaching the stuff that slides foreward toward the rear seat...
trunks bigger than it looks.

Im not that short, I just dont want to grab the spoiler. I like reaching beyond the spoiler and and using the lid body to pull down the deck.

Can you just picture the image of someone so short they they have to use a rope to pull down the camaro trunk.
