Simple tuning question
Greetings all. I have added the CAI Airbox and cat back Borla to my 2012 SS and am considering my next move. Shorty headers don't seem worth the money considering the limited power bump they provide. No tune required however, and warranty intact. The nearest reliable tuning shop to me is 3+ hours away. If I went with long tube headers and a tune that would be a substantial power bump. My question is this: If I do the LT headers and tune is it a "one and done" kind of thing or does it have to be re-tuned/adjusted periodically? I don't want to be driving 7-8 hours roundtrip every month or so getting re-tuned. Any advice is greatly appreciated.Peter
