The base Camaro LS is significantly less luxurious than a base CTS. Those premium materials and features in the CTS cost money.

Engines aren't the only things that cost money when building cars.

Well, yeah, but is everyone expecting a luxury interior in the Z28? I can see some things made standard like leather seats maybe, but... $10k worth of interior upgrades? I'm pretty sure they're not going with aluminum, carbon fiber, other overhauls to save weight or anything. Near as I can tell it's "because that's what the GT500 costs".

I would suspect a few interior enhancements over the current SS, but nothing like the CTS.

Those Z28 insignias don't come cheap apparently...........
