if you take a close look at the zl1 interior, everything about it cheap, right down to the plastic e-brake. seriously they advertise "leather wrapped interior" well that is false advertising, but the bean counters deemed it worth the savings.

It really makes you cringe if you owned a CTS-V before the Camaro. Much nicer interior and functions available!

I think the Head Unit and touch screen is excellent. The speakers etc sucked. So I did my build with the factory unit and it's off the charts!
As far as interior.....yep, a lot of cheap, I made that one of my first upgrades.

I wouldn't call the head unit "excellent" but its good enough for me. it is quite noisy which is readily apparent if you run a FARK and amp like me. I think the amp is the weakest link. And if you didn't get the sub you won't hear much low frequencies at all.

Cheap interior=true but its far better than the new Mustang GT's....YUCK!!

My opinion of the audio in the ZL1 has nothing to do with the cheap interior (we are in agreement here). Besides that, the design of the Camaro interior looks like ass to me...

I actually like the interior design except for the boost gauge in a location where you can't possibly see it. And the panels are really cheap.

But the new mustang is a complete joke on the inside. Somebody should be fired. It's that bad.

mustangs might be worse then the zl1's but is it 20k worse? as that is about how much extra we paid.

Mine was $47k and my buddies new 2015 (BASE) GT was $35k with many discounts. That's only $12k but the ZL1 is twice the car in my opinion. No comparison.
