What do ZL1 Camaro's weigh---updated

I'm wondering what our Gen 5 Camaro's weigh?? Anybody had their car to the track and had it weighed? Is there a difference between M6 and A6 cars??

My door sticker says 4250, but no I haven't weighed it. I've been trying to figure out exactly how much I took off when I went to headers and high flow cats over stock, it's a chunk. I just forgot to weight my headers and new cats before the install.

I read somewhere it was 4,065lbs. That might have been just car dry.

Please recheck your sticker. I cant believe your sticker shows 600lbs lighter than mine. Is it an auto?

Base Curb Weight, 4120lb

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curb_weight
Curb weight (US English) or kerb weight (UK English) is the total weight of a vehicle with standard equipment, all necessary operating consumables (e.g., motor oil and coolant), a full tank of fuel, while not loaded with either passengers or cargo.
This definition may differ from definitions used by governmental regulatory agencies or other organizations. For example, many European Union manufacturers include the weight of a 75 kilogram driver to follow European Directive 95/48/EC.[1] Additionally, organizations may define curb weight with fixed levels of fuel and other variables to equalize the value for the comparison of different vehicles.

Not talking base curb weight, talking gross vehicle weight sticker in door jam which on mine says 4883lbs. Those stickers should read very close. I believe the base curb weight though as I was 4275 at track with 1/2 tank , I weigh 200

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gross_v..._weight_rating
Quote:
The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), or gross vehicle mass (GVM) is the maximum operating weight/mass of a vehicle as specified by the manufacturer[1] including the vehicle's chassis, body, engine, engine fluids, fuel, accessories, driver, passengers and cargo but excluding that of any trailers.[2] The term is used for motor vehicles and trains.
The weight of a vehicle is influenced by passengers, cargo, even fuel level, so a number of terms are used to express the weight of a vehicle in a designated state. Gross combined weight rating refers to the total mass of a vehicle, including all trailers. GVWR and GCWR both describe a vehicle that is in operation and are used to specify weight limitations and restrictions. Curb weight describes a vehicle which is "parked at the curb" and excludes the weight of any occupants or cargo. Dry weight further excludes the weight of all consumables, such as fuel and oils. Gross trailer weight rating specifies the maximum weight of a trailer and the gross axle weight rating specifies the maximum weight on any particular axle.
I swear, either you are mixing terms, or the title of this thread is very poorly phrased.

If you are comparing the weight of the car with the driver, passenger and luggage, then you should probably spell those out separately.

OR,
you can calculate the maximum for Driver, Passenger, Luggage
Gross Vehicle Weight - Curb Weight

thread did not specify which weight he wanted so I stated what I actually weighed at the track then what my GVW sticker said in the door jam. It is you who made it confusing to yourself
