I am trying to hold off on posting pics of the new mods I am working on, but I will give you some idea of what i've got going. 1- I will be completely redoing my LED lighting on my car. I have new strip lighting planned for the entire car, including hidden dual LED scanners, underhood lighting, and some underglow lights. It will be subtle and tasteful. 2- more Victory Red painted items in the engine bay. 3- more exterior carbon fiber parts. 4- more bump in the trunk. 5- a little trunk dress up, including a new trunk liner from Jarheadbobandmax. I hope that helps for now. |

Did you do the JL XD700/5 swap yet? I'm thinking of doing this then adding a couple of subs.

I do have the JL XD700/5 installed. I put it in the stock location using ********'s panel and FARK kit. It sounds way better than stock, but it needs some more bass. I am working with Dennis at Double D Mods to remedy that now. From talking to him, the XD700/5 will work nicely for 1 sub, but will struggle to push more than that. That works for me since I am only planning to run a single 10 or 12 back there. If you want more subs, you might be better off getting the XD400/4 and running a dedicated amp for the subs.

Springtime may also bring some performance mods, but I just started restoring a 73 Corvette (building a resto-mod) and that is getting most of my mod money now. I just need to see if I can sneak some Camaro goodies past my wife! Last edited by Deke736; 03-03-2013 at 06:54 PM. |

Hey Deke, just wanted to say that your car is absolutely hands down the best looking Gen5 Camaro I have seen to date! Simple yet menacing!
I am currently putting all of the ZL1 body parts on my 2013 AGM 2SS....your car sent me over the top. As for your stereo mods I am running an HD900/5 in mine with a 12w6. it sounds amazing. If you went with a 12w3 on that xd700/5 im sure it would be a great setup.....just my .02 cents. Good luck on your rest-modded 73 sounds like a fun project....but dont leave DekeII out...hahahaha

For the sub, I am leaning towards the JL 12w3. I think it should pair up perfectly with the amp. |

You have pushed me over the top, I have been contemplating a type of ravens bluish/purple for mine. Your car is beautiful and I guess I know where my tax dollars are going.

I think this is my favorite car on here....wish my budget could've afforded the ZL1..haha. My car will have similar mods in the end. Thanks for the inspiration Deke.

Thanks for the comments and compliments guys! It really means a lot to me! Please keep checking back! Now that it's warming up a bit I can finally get to my new mods. I just need to find some time to do it!

I'm out of town until Wednesday, but I'll take some pics for you then. They are really nice- quality and looks (which they should be for the price). Install was really easy and they match the rockers nicely. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you get them.
