GM Performance Exhaust (need some help)
My dealer has some GM catbacks in stock and I need your opinions on them? I ask because on the site it says that they are for Camaros without the Ground Effects. I plan on getting the Ground Effects. Any ideas or suggestions? Should I just go with an exhaust from another company?

The GMPP are made for GM by Borla so you can't ask for better quality. As for "made for ground effects" i think that only has to do with tips or no tips design, if i'm wrong someone can correct me. But basically although some people don't like the rear ground effect they sorta have tips built in if you want to look at it like that and the exhaust that would look best would be the exhaust without tips because then it would be recessed a little and all you would see at a glance it the ground effects tips.

Thanks you guys. Do you think I would be happier with an exhaust without tips from another place? I will be getting the ground effects for sure. I want a sound that is loud enough but not too loud. Would be cool to set off a few car alarms here and there when I start up.

They are only axelbacks.
"For the Camaro, GM Accessories only offers a muffler system with tips and that would not void the vehicle warranty. There is no licensed full catback system that GM offers at this time. " |
