Dealer just called with a production date - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

got a call from my dealer today (Jerry Haggerty) and he informed me that GM said the production date of my car will be August 10th

When i first ordered the car i was thinking about a late september or maybe even october pickup date, and now its looking like late August

I sure don't want to rush my life, cause life is too short...but geez I can't wait for late August!

Seriously? My order was put in around the same time as yours (7/13/09). I thought I would have to wait until October as well! Well, I hope my car goes the same route as yours!

if your dealer has allocation i think it will

I put my order in last week of April... Still at 1100.

man that sucks, did your dealer not have any allocation?

I was 4th on his list, so far he only received "2" Of course after I ordered we found out he was on the list of closures. I think my order is going to be filled by another dealer. This allocation thing sucks. Should be 1st come 1st served.
There are some dealerships out here in Oregon that have received up to 10 Camaro's. I guess they sold more in the past!

i ordered 4/25, and i am not number 4 on my dealers list...i started out at number 17, so its not going all that slow...kinda

that blows man, you should look around maybe you can find a better dealer, i just happened to luck out and had someone cancel their order two days b4 i placed mine because he was tired of waiting for the hurst shifter

Incredible. Cars that were ordered 6 days ago, have TPWs before I do. This is just getting hillarious.
