I just paid $4.199 in Hawaii for 93, but that was also on base. It's about $0.20 more out in town.

Wish our gas here in Canada was this cheap. I'm paying $1.50/L for premium, converted it comes out to about $6.00/gallon.

I have been working on the BP project for the last year. It is way over schedule and over budget by billions. That and some explosion or fire at Marathon in Detroit is what they claim is the cause of high gas price in the region.

We have unlimited fuel here and Canada. We don't need shit from the arabs.

It does not mean more revenue. Tax is a fixed amount per gallon, not a percent of gas cost. They get same tax revenue regardless of gas price.

Pulled in the gas station the other day, and the station manager told me I better fill up because the price was going up .40 cents a gallon in 15 minutes.

Good thing the car gets 30 mpg.

Here in toronto/ontario/canada it's 5.30 a gallon lol (94 octane)
1.40 for a liter
3.78 liters in gallon
Total 5.30 and that's on regular days. Sometimes it'll go up to 5.70.

lol, where did you hear that? the first gulf war was indeed about oil, the second had nothing to do with it. anyhow, the oil companies are just a convenient whipping boy. they don't gouge, collude, or anything like that. the fact of the matter is, oil is a commodity traded globally, and all commodities are traded in US dollars. when Bush came to office (in order to help US industry compete abroad) he allowed the dollar to devalue. As the dollar drops in value, everything we export becomes cheaper. the flip side of that though is everything we import becomes more expensive. when Barry got elected, he ratcheted up this policy by having the FED print trillions, and trillions of dollars. we now have a currency that's worth barely half what it was 15 years ago. were essentially doing what we bitch about the Chinese doing. and because oil is sold globally, is sold in US dollars, and is a commodity; it doesn't matter how much of it we produce here. other than the revenue coming back home.

the oil companies have been investigated about 2 dozen times over the last 40 yrs, and never once has any instances of gouging, collusion etc been found. until someone comes along and repeats the strong dollar policies of Reagan and Clinton your never going to see the price of gas drop much.
