Camaro5 Fest, a two day event?????

OK guys.

We've been talking with the track and we are considering opening the drag strip on Friday as well as Saturday for test and tune.

So here is how it would work.

Any drivers would still have to pay the $50.00 fee to get in. And that gets you everything we offer to drivers on Saturday (Drag Strip, AutoX, Dyno and Car Show).

For another $30.00, we are considering letting those that show up early on Friday have access to the Drag Strip for Test and Tune runs.

So, you will still have to pay $50.00 at least to get in. If you show up early you have the option of paying another $30.00 to be able to run the Drag Strip ONLY on Friday as well.

What does everyone think? Again this is an optional thing. But we'd like to see how many would be willing to pay for an extra day of Test and Tunes

Post up and let us know!!!!!

Isn't there a cruise on Friday night at 630 or 7? Then the meet and greet at 8 at the host hotel?

I'm sure there will be some takers but not many.

I'll be cleaning my car for the show/strip the next day and at the meet and greet Friday night...cruise as well...

Plus...$30 for a test and tune? Seems a little high when we are getting so much more the next day. Maybe $15 or so you'd get more takers. Local track is only $20 for test and tune here...

Yea.....how are you guys going to fit all this in? People probably would have to show at 9-10 in the morning to enjoy the additional day.

Good feed back...

It really depends on how early you would show up on Friday to make it worth it.

And that's why we're asking.

What time on Friday would the track be open and will the Host Hotel give you the same rate if you check in on thursday.

I was planning on driving on Saturday but with 321 drivers signed up for that day I don't think you would get much track time. So I will be a spectator and see the vendors that day.

I think it would be a great idea due to the fact there will be so many cars on saturday there might be quite a waiting line for the drag strip. Plus we could get some practice so we don't look too bad on saturday in front of everyone!

Milissa

Just checking on it for now. I rather run on friday with fewer cars, more track time. I'll get with Eddie to see if he will cover the caravan.
