Funny you should mention this because there was a Corvette COMMERCIAL on TV today during the Yankees game! They showed the ZR1 and some Apollo launch footage I don't recall ever having seen.

I'd never pay 120k (lets pretend I had 120k) for a ZR1. I'd buy a Z06 for 75k loaded then buy a nice SUV for the winter with the rest! Too much that ZR1...you can't even really make much use of the Z06!

they had one at my dealer when I was ordering my Camaro. Sitting there in it's roped off yellow awesomeness. It was already sold and they agree'd to store it for him until spring on their showroom floor haha. I believe it was about 140K with the options and such that the buyer chose.

I jokingly asked why it was roped off in the middle of the floor. The salesman told me that the clear coat on the carbon fibre roof was something like $600/Litre. which would make scratches very expensive haha. Don't know how much truth there is to that, but I thought it was interesting trivia.

Kerbeck in Atlantic City, the world's largest Corvette dealer, still has 5 2010 3ZR ZR1's on the lot that sticker at 121000 for 10800 if you forgo the 0% financing (I'm not sure why you would unless you were paying cash...)

There are close to 500 ZR1's on the lots still unsold.
