In my mind the ZL-1 competes as well. if you are just looking for a fun drive you would be crazy not to drive a grand sport too IMO if you can live with the lack of practicality. grand sports are a blast to drive. then again all of my car decisions are usually $$$ based. I did not buy my Z06 because I am corvette guy. it was the fastest car I could get at the time for my 50k budget. I would love to be the ferrari 458 guy or the MP4-12c guy but I have one eyebrow and am not very smart so I don't have that kind of $$$.

I don't want a 20-lucky-13. I have no fear in what 2013 brings to the table that my 2012 won't. I do, however, fear that robots are stealing my luggage!

Ford stated before the first GT was ever built that it would only be a two year run of ~4500 units. Sales were strong for the entire run and the cars have appreciated around 15% to date.

Not all of you but a very large number. The day I bought my 01 Z28. I drove up to the local hangout spot and this guy was there with a little black fox body. Well this car had been bored and stroked and blah blah blah and I know this because its all he would talk about. About ten minutes after I showed up he started trying to get me to race him, keep in mind that I hadn't even made it home from buying it yet and even tho it had been modified I hadn't peronally got to tweak on it where he built his car. Finally after he bugged me for about half an hour I cracked and it just so happened at the time our company was building a road for a purposed industrial park, 1 1/2 mile long completely straight and no access to anyone that didn't have a key to the main gate ( me and the other foreman only) in other words a perfect temporary strip with no risk to any innocent drivers, I just wanted to clarify that because I don't want to be accused of street racing. He followed me there, we ran down stopped then ran back, both times I beat him by two car lengths. We get back to the hangout spot and he instantly goes on the defense saying his car only had a such and such gear ratio and my car had this or that advantage, and that it wasn't a fair race from the begining and so on. And he said all this after he practically begged for a race. So its nothing personal against you and im sure you have a similar example of a camaro owners Dbaggery but after several experiences like that I've come to hold a certain dislike for my local mustang crowd.

I doin't think HP.is what it's all about, Its the weight problem. And GM. knowes this. Thats why the mustang is quicker, The mustang has a solid rear end, the comaro has an independent. Lose the weight comaro is quicker, And better handeling on road course.
