OFF definitely. Well, I don't know, do it with the car running and tell us what happens. LOL

I'm just kidding..........you don't want to ever pull a fuse with a car running, it might even be better to disconnect the battery cable too.

Fuse #5 is for the ENGINE CONTROL MODULE - MAIN
Fuse #20 is for the ENGINE CONTROL MODULE - IGNITION

The same effect could be achieved by unplugging the ECM connectors on the side of it.

I'm curious what Fuse #17 for the SENSING DIAGNOSTIC MODULE/IGNITION would do as well.

Not getting a new one, they are fixing mine... just waiting for one more part... but GM is reimbursing me for my car payment, which will pay for my SLP LMII

Just to confirm... is this the same thing the dealer would do if you told them to do an ECM reset? Or do they do anything additional? If this is it, I'll just do it myself when I get my car back.

And another question... does this reset your oil life?

And last but not least... Glad to see your car running good numbers now!

PQ, if you paint yourself red you would look almost exactly like Darth Maul.. Glad to hear you finally have a fast L99.

Heres a link to my 0-60 after an hour of unplugged fuses. BTW I can't find stopwatch so can someone time it with one and let me know what you came up with?
Thanks

Randy how do you post where the picture comes up instead of using a link?

All these problems with the L99 concerns me. Is it safe to assume by the 2011 MY GM will have this problem licked?

Thanks to Scott for making PQ's day. And thank you PQ for sharing this with everyone. I don't have this problem, just have to worry about my output shaft snapping.

PQ, I think you should have went with the Arnold pose instead, it's a classic.

I've spoken to Randy on the phone a couple of times over the last few days....

All I can say is, I could totally hear the difference in his voice when he picked up the phone today.

Like a kid at christmas!

this is great news brother!

Now get Bonnie out there for a rematch.....
