Coilovers do not allow torque to spec, just spin.

After installing the coilovers I cannot get them torqued on bottom bolt in strut tower. They just spin. I can torque the top bolt.

Any tricks?

I was driving after install and all was good. I hit a hole and now I get vibration going over bumps. I know it is the front coilovers. I cannot torque down the retainer nut. It just spins.

Never heard of a lower strut tower bolt. There's the nut on top and the 2 strut to spindle bolts below. What coilover brand/model? Post a pick of the bolt in question.

Never heard of these. Is there a slot at the top of the shaft where a Allen wrench fits to keep shaft from spinning aso you can tighten the nut?

It's has a pic of an allen wrench that "should" fit in the top when the adjuster is removed but no idea with $600 coilovers.

900 coilovers. But either way, they are nice. I will look at it.

With the weight of the car on the wheels, it will be easier to tighten down the jam nut below the retaining plate nut and well as the retaining plate nut.
