E85 V6?

Ok I know I am not supposed to run E85 stock tune. Kinda curious if anybody has tried doing anything so that we can use it. From other reading (Ford F-150) with the right tune more power could be had plus its about 50 cents a gallon less. I wouldn't mind the potential loss of mpg.

2011 LS V6 M6 currently stock

PLEASE NO BS POSTS JUST HONEST HELP WANTED!

Thank you

Our camaros are not designed for E85, although future versions may have an E85-compliant V6.

The 5.3L in my Silverado is E85 capable (different heads & stainless fuel system), and the computer will make adjustments to accomodate that higher octane fuel, and deliver an extra 10hp, or so. I have never used E85 because it has about 20% less energy/gallon, but usually costs about 15% less than E10 here (so, there's no financial gain for me).

So, I would never put E85 in my camaro unless I had the engine designed to use it.

Happy Camper,

I am leaning towards the fuel system should handle it as we can run 10-15% stock with no troubles from a corosive stand point. With all of the other e85 engines I would be hoping some fuel system standards would be coming along.

Our Camaro's also have alot more compression than our pick-up trucks (I also have a Siera) So the benefits of the slower burning e85 could be more impressive with the right tune and other related parts if needed.
