Like that setup. That scratch looks terrible.

whoops, had the silly thing backwards.
the pump was pushing oil back into the turbo instead of sucking it away. the return line was bone dry. turbo would have blown up eventually. no words... |

I have seen several sets of Turbos blown from a bad oil pump return system; I hope the damage isn’t already done! Did I understand correct this is a single Turbo build?
Matt can you explain the AGP Scavenge System, is that like an accumulator on the pump inlet? |

Wow those welds are just hideous! I would never tell a soul if I had made them.

It was the sump tank for the scavenge system... Except the pump flow was marked on the bottom of the pump, but the system was hooked up backwards so it never flowed through to the valve cover hookup. We are replacing that single piece of tubing because we no longer need the sump tank.
The AGP system consists of their AGP scavenge pump, filter (This is what you are probably seeing in the pics), lines, wiring, and timer box. Just have to adjust a couple of items since there is some charge tubing in the way and the fact that the AGP billet oil cap adapter is on the passenger side vs. the drivers side for the V8. |

Just to further explain what butters had posted.. Look at the flow arrow marked on the bottom side of the pump, and see in the other picture that the feed line is going to the flow out side. Therefore it never reached the other side line it was bone dry.
Even though we have found this, we're still continuing with the AGP pump system, we know that it is tried and tested so we need something that works right off the bat. We'll see once that system is installed if that EFR turbo needs an oil restrictor, have to get up on WOT first to find out. |

Who took the Video and posted it of the car with all the smoke out back. I talked to some one that said an oil line blew off it 2 times when they were there! You know his mufflers are going to be full of oil and smoke for a long time. That makes it difficult to evaluate anything. |

That looks like the same pump I got from RX (I thought it was a aeromotive). We are running two EFRs and it has not trouble keeping up. You do not need restrictors for the EFRs (they say don't use any as they design them that way). The trick is to get the connectors of the pump below the bottom of the drain fittings for the turbo(s). I'll give you Aaron's number if you run into problems. I know he had to change a few things to get mine set up that way without it being so low as to chance hitting speed bumps and what not. Just PM me if you want his number of need any other info.

Sadly, I've seen pictures like this on others builds from there as well.
