Queens and Long Island, NY: Weekly Cunningham Park meets on Thursday! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Now that summer is right at it's zenith and the number of Camaros in NY seems to be increasing, I'd like to invite all Camaro owners to come down to Cunningham park in Queens, NY for our weekly get togethers.

If you are in the area on Thursdays, please stop by, we always have a great turnout of Corvettes, GTO's, Mustangs, classics and the occassional exotic. Several different forums regularly turn out on a weekly basis and it would be great to have the Camaro5 crew meet up there and join us.

We normally begin to trickle in at 5:30-6 pm in the South parking lot and usually stick around till 8-8:30, then head over to either the Blue Bay diner or Hooters for dinner as a group. Both are only a few blocks away down Francis Lewis Blvd.

This week's weather looks great so we should have a nice turnout at the park!

Time: 6:00 pm

Place: Cunningham Park south parking lot, Queens, NY

the entrance is on Francis Lewis Blvd, that road goes into the park, just follow it until you see a big parking lot, you can't miss us. On the map, it looks like a half circle that ends at the Grand Central, right above exit 20B. If you end up on the Grand Central, you've gone too far.

That's ok, hopefully you can make it next week. We had a good time this evening, we stayed in the park till 9.
