I'm probably going to do 40% and see how rich the mixture is. I'm going to keep running full meth until I get my EGT sensor wired up so I can tune for 1600 degrees. My goal is to lower how much water/meth I'm spraying since I'm spraying a ton.

Got the drag radials on, going to the track tomorrow night and see how it does. Still on my 6-rib setup so it will be interesting to see how far I can push it.

Was all ready to go to the track tonight and they aren't having Test-N-Tune till next Friday. Will have more time to at least tune the camshafts now and get the RPM's higher. Got it shifting at 7100 right now, want to get to 7300 but I have to do some massive changes to the tune due to fueling. At 7000 the HPFP is completely gone, only supplying 40% of the pressure I want. I have to remove some fuel I'm spraying with DI and replace it with fuel from the auxiliary system.

Removing the supercharger again so I can inspect the bearings. It makes a little noise and I want to ensure it isn't hurt so it doesn't blow apart going down the track. Going Friday to the track in NA setup to race my wife's Mustang also, should be fun.

I also need to make sure I have 1 car free, my 5.0 is kicking my ass right now with the new 5C converter. It is leaking at the bell housing so I need to fix it. Car was a monster with that 4200+ Stall, but I hate working on the Mustang's transmissions. There is no inspection plate underneath the converter, it is in front of the flywheel so I can't see the converter. About to remove the transmission for the 3rd time, getting really good at it.

My meth controller, it can control 2 meth pumps and 2 output PWM signals. I use both pumps and one output controls the BOV when the RPM's are above 4000 and the wideband is running leaner than 0.94 lambda. The other output controls the fuel solenoid on the auxiliary system with full PWM control.

First part of upgrading to a 10-rib system done. I have the jackshaft assembly on a aluminum plate that will sit on the supercharger bracket. Taking a while to do but it's the correct way that Vortech recommends.

Does vortech recommend the plate on the jack shaft due to the size of the belt and the force it'll produce on the jack shaft?

Do you know if they recommend it for anything other than a standard belt for this car? Curious about other setups and how it might affect the supercharger

On their systems the supercharger bracket holds the jackshaft also, but the IPF system doesn't have enough room. I'm placing the plate onto the IPF bracket, it should provide plenty of rigidity for very high power. The Vortech V3 doesn't have HD bearings so it can't do a cog belt.

What setups are you talking about?

Oh ok cool

I was just wondering if it was a rigidity issue because of using a wider pulley/belt on the vortech in the sense that it causes more force on the internals. I didn't think it would but this is my first FI car so I'm very cautious. I may look into making the switch to a separate belt system if the reviews are right. Ideally I'd like to do my own custom work but I'm not in a position to do that right now. Thought maybe that's why there was an extra bracket, not because there wasn't enough room originally

Honestly think I just misunderstood what the bracket was doing
