You could put your 2 fronts on the rear and then use any spare you want on the front with your good rear tire.

I guess I will find a spare that has some curb rash, try to get a front rim?

Front and rear tires are the same height on the Camaro. Brake caliper clearance is also the same front and rear. Whatever fits on the front will also fit the rear

yes they are both 28.7 tall, I think it would be smaller in the trunk if you had a front.

Ahh . . . that would work for earlier VINs. The newer VINs (70k +) have caliper weights which are known to cause problems now for 18 inch rims.

Heres a thought do you think you could have a custom rim made and put a motorcycle tire on it to use as a spare? If it was 20" around would it mess with the limited slip or would it have to be as wide to. Also what good is a spare if you can't stick the regular tire somewhere? Has anyone checked into if it fits in the trunk? If not I suppose you could design a mount like a bike rack that you could strap to the back to get you home or to a repair shop. Hmmm

Just keep it simple
Easy solution for those with 20" wheels.Buy a front 20" rim and tire- takeoff, and buy a sizzor's jack from where ever and strap the spare down in the trunk with small 1" tie down straps to the rear trunk hooks x and your good to go.

Anyone know how thick of a wheel spacer would be needed to fit the OEM spare on the front of the SS to clear the calipers? Mine does not have the newer style weights.

I was thinking the samething about a smaller rim, we have a person on here that can make a rim wider????? The tire load would be the only item that needs to be looked at? I don't think they make a 20"tire for street bikes???? I don't know that for sure.
