Anyone Happy
Just trying to take a poll because all I hear are people who hate this car. I have been in the same boat with top(without car for two weeks). But GM and my dealer are doing all they can to fix the problem. I give them both a lot of credit for how easy the whole process has been at least with me. Besides that this is a dream car and a convertible none the less. Wrinkles are going to appear, lines may show if you guys didnt want this then they also make the camaro in a hard top. I love droping the top and cruising but with that added feature you deal with the wrinkles and rub marks all tops have them. GM has realized their top wears in spots more and are fixing the issue. I love this car no matter what. Just my two cents.

I had my top replaced last year due to the minor rub marks, and I've been loving it since the day I bought it.
The ONLY reason I'would get rid of it (and I am) is to trade it in for a ZL1 Vert. 18k miles and LOVING it. |

I'm very happy with mine.
Not as perfect as I'd hoped, but I won't get rid of it. Maybe add a ZL-1 Convert to the fleet, but she's a keeper even then. |

The car is awesome, however Chevy could have made some of the parts better and definitely could have made the interior more appealing. But drop the top and the car hits a completely different gear.

FF The Million dollar question is.... If said person is spending over $40K on car (Chevy , Ford or what ever) Should they have all these problems.... Do you know how many hours it would take you to read through all the threads on vert problems. The facts are... Chevy F-up the vert mech. And they don't have the time or money to fix it... That being said I still might buy a 2013..

Getting a new top installed today (3rd one including original). This one is a COMPLETE install with mechanisms/arms etc..and not just the fabric.
Still don't regret 1 second of my purchase! - If GM had given us more assurance that the problem was recognized & that we'd get permanent, proper fixes, then you probably wouldn't have heard much... Like I said - I LOVE IT! after 7 months, I'm still getting a S*!! load of heads turning..... |

I love mine! I've had a few minor issues, but I would buy this car all over again. Plus, my kid gets cool points when he gets dropped off at high school with the top down!

Oh I'm happy, happy happy! Max has had his issues, but he's part of the family and wouldn't trade him for anything. Every day I still hear "Love your car!"

I love mine I couldn't imagine driving with a roof over my head!
Yes, I had a hole started in the top and have had it replaced. I also need to return it for some, hopefully, minor adjustments but over all it has been great. Bought it July 1st of last year and have 9815 miles on it with maybe 25 of those with the top up. And out of those 346 days, only two of them has the dealer had it. I am glad I waited for the 'vert. |
