Have allocation
Designed the car on Wednesday, they told me the allocation should be finalized next week, Crystal red tincoat, black wheels, micro suede, grey roof and rear decklid stripe package, carbon fiber insert with navigation.
I paid MSRP less $900.00 for junker trade, I told them the trade had to be included or I would shop around, I asked them if they wanted to take the chance of loosing the sale over $900.00 got it in writing. |

Congrats on getting the car! Consider yourself lucky that you got the exposed carbon fiber insert.

It sounds like I was fortunate with the pricing, I had 2 dealers with allocations available and I was able to play them against each other. This is the first time I ever paid MSRP it hurt a little. The car is definitely worth it though, this is the first time I ever got to order one from scratch.
How does the process work moving forward, I read that you can follow the build online. Also what happens if something comes back not right, am I locked in at this point, I only gave them $500.00 down. I did see my name on the order form they said that secured the allocation for me once it is issued. |

He won't know if he'll actually get the ECF insert until GM responds to the order from his dealer listing no constraints.

When my dealer went in to place my order it showed constraints on the exposed carbon fiber insert.

Either you are very lucky or you won't be able to place the order with B92

I just talked to the dealer again, and he said that there were issues with the 2012 but they haven't had any problems with orders this year. The last 3 they sold were coupes with the inserts. Monday I will know for sure i hope they are being honest.
When I look at the cars that dealer have in stock in the general area they all have the inserts except on 2 black cars. Last edited by ZL12013; 10-19-2012 at 05:54 PM. |
