ZL1 Fuel Pump Install
Installed the ZL1 fuel pump yesterday. Man, what a job that was, 4 hours. Had to take off the rear tires, tunnel support, exhaust, 2 shields and drive shaft. Then took out the front bolts of the rear and loosened the 2 rear bolts and lowered the rear. Took off the fuel tank straps and lowered the tank to disconnect all lines and electric connections. I bought the tool($54) to take off the ring holding the pump in the tank, so that was the easy part. Installing the pump was also easy with the tool. Tomorrow it's going to the tuner to get 72# injectors put in and a dyno tune. Will I ever stop doing this stuff.

So that's the only way to install the pump, I assume?

I have my ZL1 fuel pump in my garage with a 3" pulley for my Edelbrock with new injectors. I was going to put them in this summer but I think I'm going to wait and have it done this winter because I don't drive it in the winter. I'm thinking I should be around 550-575 RWHP. Now all I can think about is what to do next to get more power. Does it ever end???
