Camaro5 Classifieds rock - TSW Brooklands on SS Convertible
I want to share my Camaro5 Classifieds story. In summary, it worked out great!
I had been looking for a set of wheels that made may car into a full transition to Blacked Out. I wasn't ready to buy but I spent time looking through the classifieds anyway. I came across a set of TSW Brooklands from a fellow that had them on a white SS. They were 20s, which would match my desired size. I shot him a price and he shot one back. SOLD. Winter was winding down so I sent him payment and told him to take his time on shipping. A few weeks later it was like Christmas when my wife sent me a picture (see below). I borrowed a buddies jack and started removing stock wheels. I quickly realized that stock lugs would not fit. So I ran to Orielly's for some 14x1.5 lugs. I may change those out to all black in the future. I got around to my last wheel and realized the TSW center cap was missing. After all my wheels were installed I did some Google searching, then some Bing searching, then some Yahoo searching. I couldn't find anything matching my center cap size and color. I made a few phone calls (the old fashion way) and came across a guy "The Wheel Cap King." Seriously, that is the name of his business. The Wheel Cap King. If you ever need a center cap, he is your man. I took some pictures of the wheels on the car. You will notice a white pinstripe around the wheels. I removed that pinstripe with paint thinner. It took forever. I am going to put on a red stripe. I bought the paint and tried to free-hand it. Not good. So I found a used pinstriping tool (small bottle with a wheel and guide) on Ebay. $20 with shipping. As soon as I get it I will have a red pinstripe.

Looks very good! I also have a black SS/RS and am looking at TSW Interlagos 20"X9 and 20X10" with +35mm offset. What are yours and what size tires? Thanks

Nice...love black on black, and get a set of black gorilla nuts...they are well worth it.

Because I bought them used I'm not sure of the exact offset. Other than that they match the factory wheels and tires.
