No shit sales are declining on the Camaro, Challenger, and Mustang. What do they all have in common? High Output V-8's. Which mean terrible gas mileage and higher octane gasses need which I don't know if any of you have seen the gas prices lately but I can tell you that it's not cheap to drive one of these and don't even say buy a v-6 because we all know that is a sin.

Mustang changed the game with the Ecoboost & will do so again with the hybrid. Whether we like it or not, the future is here.

Gas hits $5 a gallon the Camaro is going by-by lol but no matter what happens in the future when they completely phase out v-8s and everyone is driving hybrids and 4 cylinders.. nothing will beat the sound or performance of a v8. Anyone that buys a Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger with anything other then a V8 is just supporting the V8 phase out and I don't like you.

meh.what is the percentage of v-8 camaros VS. "other" (meaning 4 and 6 cylinders) being sold?if it werent for the other powerplant options camaro would have probably died at the end of the 5th gen anyway.i hope you meet up with a heavily modded 6th gen T-4 and he smokes your azz...

It's true that there already wouldn't be a Camaro with a V8 if it weren't for the V6. Also, some people aren't able to purchase a V8, especially with 6th generation prices.
I'm sure they don't care if you like them or not too.

I'll just ride my bike more... enjoy my Camaro on the weekends.

Lol, It's like $1.55 a gallon in Canada, and I'm not crying. I just drive it on the weekends and evenings when I get a chance.

Nothing beats the sound of a V8, Gotta pay to play.

That’s crazy talk! All the cars in IndyCar and Formula1 currently use V6 engines and they go 230+ mph (see below). The 1st gen Camaro was offered with both 6 and 8 cylinder engines and the 5th gen V6 has a much faster top speed, a much quicker 0-60, and the same 1/4 mile time as the legendary 396 big block powered 1st gen! I’ve owned many V8s over the years but the 5th gen V6 is plenty powerful for what I need it to do - in fact I just got a speeding ticket a few days ago

It's definitely a sign of insecurity.

Over $5 a gallon here ....big difference. I find it depressing when people complain about cheap gas after I just finished putting almost $100 into my Camaro.

I sure won't be. Smart enough to have a 4 banger daily driver. Lol Gas for my 1le is purely entertainment.
