Mine was born 5/9/12 and it's on at least it's 3rd Batt
I say at least because I bought it with very low miles and it had a brand new aftermarket Batt. That Batt only lasted 11 months. I put another in last Summer (lifetime warranty this time, LOL). Car still has under 30,000 miles

Finally someone with my luck! These 8,9,10 year old cars with an original battery are hard to believe. I live in a very mild climate and have NEVER had one last even 8 years. And I don’t do anything different than you do. Except for those who keep it trickle charged. Not calling y’all liars, just stating the facts.

I don't "keep" mine on a trickle charge but do recharge it before winter each year. Original battery on a 2011 SS.

Original battery, never on a trickle charger. 2012 ZL1, 70k miles. Normally never goes an entire week without being driven unless I'm out of town.

Car was built early 2011, still had the original battery, replaced the battery shortly after I bought it in July 2019 after getting it tested. My V6 that I had also was also built early 2011, I had to replace that battery in November of 2018. So yeah, the batteries that came with these cars seem pretty good.

When I had the V6, I bought an Advanced Auto AGM, the battery didn't sit exactly right in the tray, seemed a bit wider than the original. After I bought the SS, got a Napa AGM, it fit just perfectly.

That's fantastic!

Built 3/3/2012. Replaced both battery and alternator @ 7 years / 96,000 miles.

Car born in July of ‘09. Just replaced what I assume was original battery ( acdelco no date inscribed). Noticed turning a little sluggish. Replaced with Duracell, same 800 cca.
