Got to love the IBM
Nice pic SNV. I like the little changes, the spears, gills and the black bow tie. |

Brought the car home today. Now just waiting for the snow to disappear and a good rain to clean up the streets a bit.

Congratulations, I may be biased, but the white stripes look awesome, and give the car some "punch".

Hello all!!! Been on hiatus for a long time now. Spent some time deployed to Kuwait and then was re-missioned over here to Afghanistan, so I've been out of the loop. The network had my favorite site blocked... :( But I got a new computer and it lets me on, for now...lol Anyways... I was very intent on buying a Summit White 2SS and having IBM stripes painted on it. But, have always been a fan of IBM and after spending much time going over all the gorgeous pics of everyone on this threads cars, I've been pursuaded to place my order when I'm home in July on R&R for an IBM 2SS with white stripes. For now that is. Just want to say thanks to everyone for posting all the pics and keeping this vet entertained. Keep em' commin'!
-DUNK- p.s. I don't have a lot of time on here when I do, so I'm gonna ask a dumb question, but any word on HUD?

Thanks for your service Dunk31 and I know I really like my IBM. IBM on a sunny days really makes the lines of the Camaro pop. I opted for the 1LT and I'm sure the SS would be great also. Be sure to post pics when you get your new SS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Summit white makes a good looking Camaro but here in the rural midwest with all the bugs I figured the IBM would be easier to keep clean. So far I'm totally satisfied with my Camaro.

Thanks VASCAR2. Where in Illinois are you located? I'm really about an hour south of St. Louis, MO, but if I told anyone they'd never know where I was talking about, plus I spend enough time in the STL to just add that. I didn't even think of the rural midwest and bugs, but honestly I don't plan on having it out that often. My 93 Z-28 will still be my daily driver. Hopefully I won't be spending hours after my Sunday drives with tar and bug remover like I had to do on past cars. I agree about the lines popping more with the IBM too. I saw enough running around VA of the Summit White before I deployed and I wasn't impressed with the detail of the lines it provided, but still love the White W/IBM stripes combo idea, just like the IBM more I "think"... LOL Plenty of time to make up my mind though.
