Well Heat Dynasty, I'm in the same boat as you; mine has been sitting in Toronto since 7:15 this morning too!!! Hopefully, both of us will be off and running in no time!

LOL, yeah, i don't know what happened, i think that intermediate update was bogus....i don't think mine is actually on a truck yet since i had to get stripes on it. I trust the rail car number at this point to be correct from CT.

I hope you didn't get stripes either if that's not what you wanted!

Hey Guys,
My car was produced 3800 on Monday
My dealer says I am at 4800 (Bayed).
CamaroTracking still showe 3800.
Is there anything else I can check or do I just wait for a change from CamaroTracking??

Yaaaahooo After 5 days of no updates on CT, I got 2 today. The first said it was 'On Hold in Oshawa' and I was bummed. The second said "Available to ship from Oshawa". Fingers are crossed that I get if for Labor Day Weekend...

Man, my IBM 2SS/RS has been stuck in Oshawa since last Tuesday (8/17). Camaro Tracking updated today with available to ship from Osh, but it seems to be at a crawl now. To top it off, my dealer acts as if it's an inconvenience to check when I call (much different than the day I placed the order).

1100 - Preliminary order accepted (7/31)
1102 - Preliminary order added through web (7/31)
2000 - Accepted by GM (8/02)
2500 - Preferenced (8/03)
3000 - Accepted by Production Control (8/04)
3100 - Available to sequence (8/05)
3300 - Scheduled for production (8/05); TPW 8/16

3400 - Broadcast

4000 - Available to ship from Osh (8/17)

This is my first-ever order. I've always brought off the lot, but this is going to be my baby, so I wanted things to be just so. In fact, I'm going to be there when they back her off the truck. I'll be trailering her home and doing the detail myself. I told the wife I was getting the "baby's room" (garage) ready this weekend. She just rolled her eyes...lol She'll also be covered in the garage. I found the GM Camaro cover on GMPartsDirect.com for $232, which I thought was a pretty good price considering the same cover from the dealer is $360.

As for the wait, it was short until she was actually born. Now things are dragging...

I hear ya about the dealer acting like it is a hassle for them to check on the status. The dealer has told me that once it is built there is now way they can track it. They say the next time they will know anything about where the car is, is when a truck pulls in and it is on it. The only updates I get are from CT, and from what it sounds like CT is not very up to date.

It seems like it is so close, but yet so far away.

If we are on the same rail car I just called CSX and our train left Hamilton, Ontario at 7:56AM.

CT does lack updates. It is a free site so the workers maintain it on their spare time. It sucks, but at least they do give us updates (sometimes) and try to help out. Once they give you your rail # just call up the shipping #'s and forget about CT.

Just got an email from CT.
Went to the CT web and got the status: "In-Transit from Osh"

And called CSX with rail car # and got: "Load, Departed, Hamilton Ontario, Aug 26, 7:53 AM"
