Door open Lights

Anyone know what i can tap into for light when the doors open?

I can place it on a new switch but it would be better if it just came on when door was open.

Looking to add LEDS under the rubber molding inside door to light up the door stills. The Red line is where i want to place the LEDS under the rubber

It is under the driver side dash, above the gas pedal. Use the gray wire in the gray block. If you look at a thread about the footwell lighting install there will be pics.

But then they stay on after the door is closed, you want the wires on the passenger side of the car that run to the dome light, its in the passenger kick panel and is a 2 row 15 pin per row connector and its pin A7 and B7, That is the right way, and if you do that then your dome light switch works to turn it on as well as the auto.

Not at the gray wire. That is the circuit for the dome light. My footwell lights turn off/on with the dome.
