Yes you can use the same wire

I never could find a switched wire on my 2012 vert. Don't think anyone on C5 has either, but could be wrong. I ended up buying a hardware cord from Escort and running down the pillar to the fuse box.

Btw - which Camaro did you get? Post some pics!

Hey. It's looking like the mirror thing won't work, but I've come up with another idea. Mine has a sunroof with the switch up there. It is a 12v ignition on circuit. I'm thinking about tapping that one. Do you or anyone on this thread have experience with this?

2012 Camaro 2LT RS, Ashen Grey Metallic, silver/black leather, sunroof, 6-speed manual, Corsa Cat-Back Exhaust. I just graduated college so it's my graduation present to myself. It's truly a thrill to drive.

Can't see them, but sounds like he is mounting it by the mirror you want them as low as you can get them, they are aiming for your light and license plates

I thought so too, but the mount will fit perfectly on either side visor mounting point. Which is whay I put mine on the drivers side.....works like a champ and I can see it PERFECTLY
