I don't care how bad Doug's day was going. Talk to me like that and your day will get a lot worse.

After reading that wall of un-structured text you had i'm on your side that was ridiculous to do all that and never look under the hood you'd think a tuner would do such a thing if there was a problem by instinct not jack up the car and look under it. I'm not even going to comment on his replies to yuor post i've had a similar experience with Speedpro Imaging in Portsmouth, NH they did my stripes and managed to make alot of errors take almost 7 hours to do a 2 hour job and tried masking mistakes and of course they won't reply to me via e-mail or phone anymore when i simply asked for replacement cut CNC material cut that i'd install myself with a friend. All of which i offered to pay for the material and laborcharge for the simple 5 minute CNC cutting.

Not sure why it should be posted here unless it was experienced by a member here. Maybe if it were a friend of yours, but you have no idea if it's true or what the circumstances were.

I think it should be posted here, and the story honestly seems to be true, you can even read Doug's responses. Reguardless of the circumstances, Doug's comments on the Ls1tec site are simply not appropriate.

Now does this change my opinion on ECS, nope not at all. If I lived closer to them they would do all my work. Some people take this as bashing ECS, I think it's more of a REALITY CHECK for Doug at ECS. I'm in sales (Selling the US Army everyday) never once have I spoken to a potential client/applicant like that, even if I wasted a hour-weeks on this one person. Sometimes we have bad/stressful days, and should bite our tongues. This was one of those days, Doug should of thought before he spoke.

Will this affect ECS?? I highly doubt it.... For this one bad experience, they have 100s of good and happy customers.

I'd say you are wrong. They'll keep their existing happy customers for sure. And it will be business as usual for people who haven't seen the thread. But this thing is going viral, don't underestimate the power of the internet. We've already killed off HPS. Made a dealership buy a guy a new car and exposed many many shady operations.

Who in their right mind would take a vehicle to them after reading that? Not me, that's for sure. I'm not going to trust my camaro to them. Not to mention that ECS flat out does not deserve mine or anyone else's business with an attitude like that.

I was seriously considering the ECS kit for my 1LE... now itll be a Procharger for sure. Same deal on my best friends Vette. Even previously satisfied customers are quickly backing away after this deal...

Hi Guys, a customer had forwarded me this thread so I wanted you guys to hear from us directly.
I will certainly not come here defending Doug's attitude either towards the customer or how he responded towards the customer in the thread as it was uncalled for. I will personally apologize to everyone here for what has happened. The customer was originally scheduled to come in here on a Wed but we had to reschedule for this past Friday as Doug had to have a tooth extracted. The only thing I can possible say is that I know Doug slept like 2-3 hours in 2 nights. That certainly does not give him the right to act that way but all I am trying to say is it was an outside circumstance to the issue.
I am working with the customer now and we are going to get the car mechanically ready to tune and get the car completed.
All I ask is that you guys please give us another chance as a company. We have a very good team here and we all love what we do. I would hate to lose all your business because our tuner had a crappy attitude one day. If anyone has any questions at all you can post here or always feel free to send me an email personally..

If so I think someone should be posting apologies, and not you.

No thanks. We've already been told to keep our cars away, that you don't want our business.
