Hennessey Chevy SS HPE1000 - 1000 Horsepower

The HPE1000 package better come with drag radials.

With the HPE 1000 the package replaces the entire LS3 engine to a 7.0 L twin turbo LSX with a new intake manifold, the entire internals of the engine is reworked with forged materials. As part of the packages Hennessey also includes exterior badging and carbon aero body kit.

Now I can get my kids to school and get the groceries home in 68.5 seconds, as opposed to the slow 85.8 seconds.

Nevertheless, they put out some really bonkers things. And for that, I thank them.

I love reading claims like this.

1000hp? First of all, there are no turbos on that car.. unless we're talking about electric turbos mounted inside the CAI tube?

No way in hell that car is making 1000hp with a maggie or on 6 rib setup, not to mention that huge pulley.

Probably is if you use "Hennessy Math" with 30% drivetrain loss factored in.

Off topic, but IMO the SS would look so much better if the grill was all one piece, like if the top grill went straight down to the bottom without that break in between. Just looks awkward the way it is :/

Like some type of split bumper design? Hmm, I'd have to see it.
