I almost went with the heartbeat but it wasnt out when was ready to get the blower and install it, I dont take mine to the track, and just DD it, so whipple was the next best option, made 567/553 on a mustang dyno with low boost.

Longevity of the superchargers in combination with the engines is very spectacle. Both can last long, or be disastrous. Although the ECS kit offers no engine warranty, with a moderate amount of boost with a good tune, can yield you ~600 rwhp and last a long time. SLP, offers the Maggie and a warranty if it is not altered in any way and installed by a certified GM tech.

As far as heat soak and IAT's. PD blowers will always be more than the centri's. Just because the intake is above the exhaust manifold, it has no effect on the IAT. Heat soak is minimal and IAT's more significantly less with the ECS kit.

Lon term use of the car will be my DD (I only drive about 50-60 miles a day), when the weathers not go for the Harley. But, also plan to dabble in auto cross if anything.

No the Vortechs are not legal in Cali yet so I'm stuck there... Yeah the Heartbeat looks like a really good kit but that and the Whipple are both over the $7k amount I believe.

For my first FI car the E Force seems the way to go. Carb compliant, fairly priced so I can save a little still for the fuel pump, spark plugs, and custom tune since I have headers and intake.

Love that heart beat and whipple though, damn!

Don't sell the enforce short, with good supporting mods I'm running 640 to the rear at 128 mph in the quarter. They can make power

Yeah good for you man! Too bad I live in Ca and can't have half of that stuff due to Carb lol. Damn it. I can only go carb approved shorties, very limited intakes, very limited cam (actually I do not think there is one that will run with the E Force that is Carb Legal), and I can't touch my cats...

So knowing that what would you suggest I match it up with?

All PD Blower cars are slow and do not make any power above 4500...just keep reading this forum.

If those are the two kits you're considering (posted above), I would go with the ECS. $3K of price difference will buy ALOT of other goodies to further improve the performance gains.

I found my Whipple lightly used for half of its original cost...made my choice easy.

That quick hitting eforce will get away from you quickly on autocross, but if you can drive it will be fun as hell.

If I have a M6 Camaro I would have a ECS kit on it. Both styles are great and I Install/drive all of them. The Centri just has better throttle control.
