I went on ebay and looked for the vinyl and then cut to size and took a razor blade to make it perfect.

ok..i've read a few of these...and don't under stand how they attach..I understand cutting it with a razor etc..but how does it fit on the old bowtie?? thanks for any help

I used a pulling motion to get it to sit right. Also the stuff has a adheasive backing like a sticker. I got the idea from the diy threads. Thanks for all the comments.
