Just curious where that information came from. I'd love to see it. I've seen some pretty stout #'s at mild boost on Prochargers and TVS units. The vette in my driveway made 672 rwhp on 8.5psi with a TVS. Bob at EPP had another vette at similar power levels with a procharger on similar boost. Those two are proven performers and they're here NOW. No waiting.......

I've never had any roots type blower, I had a vortech in my last car and a procharger in the one before that one. You need to rev them up to get to the high boost I was running 11psi in my 07 mustang GT and had to change gears to get tot he 11psi faster.

This time I have a maggie on order with ADM performance, I like the way you pretty much always have power instead of just at the top end. I would definitely go with the maggie or a kenne bell when they are available. Plust I always heard stories at the track at how, roots and twin screw are better than a centrifugal.

Who the hell wants to hack up a $40K camaro to make a track car out of it? The power #'s are there to run 10's. I'm sure someone will do it. Just not my cup of tea....

Here is 100 percent proof that a maggie setup correctly will destroy a procharged car....

Silver zo6 makes over 550 rwhp on a procharger...the maggie powered blue convertible makes 550 rwhp.....

THAT WAS A 10.5 AT 132 FOR THOSE THAT COULD NOT SEE IT!

Given equal hp, I think the advantage the maggie has in the lower rpm band, off the line, will be the decider.

Check out the info which came from SEMA where edelbrock debuet the supercharger. It is also on their web site under edelbrock TV. Supposed to have them done in FEB, since mine is "up" for the winter the wait is no problem.

Give us the "Cliff" notes version. Have no interest in buying the blower, but would like to learn a little more about it. I'm guessing all of the test numbers are in house Edelbrock stuff. I can't see how there would be a big improvement over the Maggie TVS seeing that it uses the same blower.

Well if you are not interested in buying and appear to want someone else to do your resaearch for you I suggest you check out the edelbrock site (Edelbrock TV) they explain the design in great detail. From what I saw the greatest difference is the design and much freer flowing runners, but hey what does Edelbrock know about building engine parts.

Procharger IMO sounds terrible. That high pitched, ear bleeding screetch.

i have the tvs2300 on my ss since it had 400 miles on it, 6/09 one of the first customer cars, its been great, i also have a maggie on my 01 silverado and 07 escalade and not a single problem. great performance, reliability and performance, i've done several cross country trips with those two and have never worried about a problem. great power delivery off idle. i had a procharger on my ws6 t/a and i had reliability issues, great power on the top end but had to keep my aaa membership up to date. had a procharger on my boat and it was awesome but for street use you just cant beat a maggie for all around useage and versitilaty. just my opinion and ive owned 9 s/c vehicles.

I'd like to see some "independent" research. The in house stuff from Edelbrock means little in my book. I've been caught in that trap before. I won't buy another product without independent research. A few years back, I had to file a lawsuit to get my money back on a machine that didn't deliver as advertised. I got my money back, but learned a valuable lesson.

The info from urr2slo means more to me than anything edelbrock publishes about its own product.
