What's up?
Hey everyone.
Just joined last night and thought I'd introduce myself. I've been a Camaro fan for a long time but never owned one. Been following the 5th gen. since the concept's debut in 2006 and am excited to buy one. I'm graduating college this year and plan to get one as my first new car so I'm saving up. I've got a couple old Cadillacs and a Taurus as my get around car but Caddy and Chevy are my brands. Looking foward to my SS/RS when I can get it.

Haha I know, here's my car history.
- My first car was a 1989 Lincoln Mark VII LSC, got it from my uncle's neighbor and it lasted me 6 months. I liked the car a lot but it wasn't very reliable. - I then moved on to a 99 Chevy Malibu LS which became something reliable for me to commute to school with. Wasn't crazy about it at first but the car really grew on me. I wanted a 4th gen Camaro but my dad was helping me pay so he had to approve it as a good commuter for me at the time. This was my first Chevy and I loved it for the time I had it. It allowed me to make some money working and put some away to buy my first "toy." - My next car was my 1989 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance. I've always loved Cadillacs and always wanted one and this was the one I wanted the most. 5 years later I still have my Caddy and I love her. The Caddy lives a very easy pampered life with spring/summer weekend driving and car shows. The car is in fantastic shape looking almost showroom new and the love of my life. - On my way to class one day some inattentive lady in an Audi slammed into my Malibu while I was pulling into the school and totalled it, so I inherited my mom's winter car, her 99 Taurus. It was a free car with pretty good mileage and new tires so I was happy to have it otherwise my Cadillac would've become my commuter. The car is pretty well loaded with the DOHC V6, power lumbar seats, and electronic climate control and all that. It's almost fully loaded with the exception of leather and the sunroof. Pretty reliable and I still have my Cadillac to enjoy so I don't complain. - Finally on the way to a family function with the girl I was dating at the time I spotted a 1976 Cadillac Coupe deVille that was priced cheap and needed some work so I decided to pick it up and work on it as a restoration project. I've been working on it ever since and I got it running really well. The Cadillac 500 CID engine is sick having enough power to pull my house down the street. So here I am, about to finish college and find myself a real job. I'm a communications major and have been hosting a show on my school's radio station for the last three years. I'm looking to go into broadcasting, maybe continuing radio since I've got the experience and I really like it. I figure I'll finish my DeVille and sell it, then use that money on a down payment on a 5th gen Camaro plus the pennies I'll get for my Taurus, haha. Who knows, I might even hold onto the Taurus as a winter beater or something. Either way, I've got 2010 Camaros doing donuts in my mind everyday...... Sorry for the "novel." Haha.
