I was just wondering if anyone on here is going to see cars vins 1 and 2. I plan on going as long as nothing comes up. Would be cool to see some of you there.

seriously what is wrong with chevy?

no public appearances in california to celebrate the camaro, they are not focusing on the strongest sale locations. I dont get it cause we are gonna buy most of them anyway.

This isn't a chevy thing exactly i dont think. It is a Hendrick thing. They are having like a car show and the first two off the line (that hendrick bought) are goin to be there. They say that there will be one there to drive also (which I assume will be the v6) some sort of nascar simulator and other stuff. Sounds pretty cool... I am just going (if i can) to get my first real up close look at the car. I can't wait.

Its about a 6 hour drive from me.

And I Will Definately take lots of pics and post them as soon as I get back. If I dont post anymore after May 2nd you will know that I died of joy from sitting in a camaro

I have been dieing for a chance to see the new camaro and so far this is going to be the closest to me that I have found. I know by then some dealers are probably going to have one but I dont want to be all up in someone elses car for respect to them I wouldn't want some person all over my car or in it before I had the chance get over the new

thats cool, go for it. If i was you i would have plenty of cd's and at least 1 person to talk to.

Its gonna be me, my Zune and my Silverado, and maybe someone else dont know for sure yet . (I know its going to suck the gas but hey I think it will be worth it)

I'll be there Cam.......hopefully with my 2010 by then. If not, I guess I'll have to take my 68.

Look for me either way. I'll be wearing a Camaro5 T-shirt. I'm hoping that everyone that comes out from all three boards (Camaro5, 5thgen and CamaroZ28) will stop by and announce themselves somehow. May see if Paul at the dealership can spare a table and we can have our "Southern Summit 09".

I should be easily spotted, Ill probably be the one that looks like a statue standing next to one of the cars with a big smile on my face lol. I am planning on going down the night before and getting there extra early before the crowd starts showing up.

Hmmm, I could maybe make that. I'm a little over 4 hours out. Maybe I should drive my 4-Sale '68 if I don't sell her in Charlotte. I too am dieing to see, touch feel, etc a 5th gen in person.

Just look for a banner that will have Southern Summit '09 on it.
