I PICKED UP 3478 (BLACK 2SS 6SPD) FROM LESON IN GRETNA TODAY AT ABOUT 1430 HOURS CST. I DID NOT WANT THEM TO WASH IT SO I WILL POST PICS AFTER I GET IT CLEAN.

My 2SS/RS, 6 speed, SIM, with sunroof arrived today (5/4/9). I didnt take many quality pics due to the excitement and spending all day driving. It was also overcast and rainy today. I intend to add black rally stripes. I have included a pic of the lovely Duct Tape job covering the passenger side mirror mounting holes. The mirror was damaged during transport. The car is as awsome as everyone has previously stated!

Ours came in today, we will pick it up tomorrow or Wednesday, we will paint the ground effects body color (Cyber Grey) and install the stripes ourselves since we own a restoration shop. I'll post when it is ready, we are not have them remove the plastic etc.

Ok so I picked up my Camaro yesterday at 630 in Houston. Had about an hour drive across town to get back home. 21.7 mpg for a 55 mile drive. The drive home was the most fun I have ever had in a new car. People would pull up and spend a couple of miles taking pictures, waving , honking & trying to get me to race them. It was really a great experience. I think this car has been worth every minute of waiting just based on the reaction of the other people in the cars around me. I have a few pictures that I took at work today. Also wanted to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all the members & moderators of this website for all the great information that was shared over the past several months. Because of Camaro5 the waiting has been more tolerable. Most of all it has made me appreciate this car and what it takes to make a truely incredible concept become a reality. I have one word to describe how much I enjoy owning this car......WOW!

Yes yes I have my SS today at noon at Dutch Miller Chevy in Huntington, WV. I work there and my ph rang my friend Ernie a salesman said your car is out front. I looked out the door and there it was my Rally Yellow 2SS / auto / VIN 4314.

I paid MSRP for it last week it had a parade of people following me. It was crazy they wanted to buy it but guess what and as the driver drove off so did most of the people to the next dealer wanting to buy a 2LT black thats all i know about that. I have WV license plate "bumblbee" I transfered to my SS since I got it 2 years ago and had it on my 06 Impala waiting for this day to come. I will post pictures later.

Ordered this car 3-9-09 and today at 12:15pm I had it from the end of the truck with 2 miles on it. I have driven it 70 miles today and it is sweet. I rode in the back seat and not much head room. Both seats very roomey and nice. Not going to punch it till it is broken in but you can tell it says "lets do it!"

I will get my stripes put on Thursday at 9am by auto trim. It is a GM package but I want an pro to do it so it will be right and will not be shown like we seen the hockey stripe (uneven)

So to all my C5 brothers and sisters hang in there your day will come and we can have a camaro rally at the beach and party!

I am the wife, reporting in for the Happy Husband ! He will have the pleasure of adding pictures later.

He was out of town when the car came in. I had strict instructions to pick it up ASAP.

Camaro was at the dealership on Tuesday (late afternoon) May 5th. I drove it home yesterday, May 6th - then put in the garage. It was so much fun to surprise him with his new toy finally at home!

He ordered around 10/20/08

- Date of Delivery - May 5th - took home on May 6th (they had to fix the cable)

I am still in shock I have my camaro it still hasnt sunken in yet this car has blown away my expectations with the fit and finish, raw power, technology. The refinement is perfect in my opinion sure they are problems in the beginning but that is with any new car. I thank everyone for being so kind and helpful through this process and the members who made it to our unveiling yesterday.
